About Heron Brook Haven

At Heron Brook Haven the belief is "We all have the power and light within to BE!" When we learn to listen to and trust our inner voice and wisdom we can then find our Orenda, (spiritual essence) and remember who we are.

My name is Jana, (AKA Grandmother Willow) and Heron Brook HavenJana has come to life as a result of my journey. We all have a purpose for being here and part of that is remembering why we chose to come and figuring out the best way to accomplish that. As we each heal and remove the "veils" and doubts that cloud our remembering we learn to listen, trust and find our way. Empowering ourselves and learning how to achieve that can be difficult and even more so when trying to do it on our own. It has been and continues to be my blessing to be able to help those on this path. I am always very thankful for the many gifts and blessings I have been given and receive each day. It is a true gift to know that we are never alone!

This is Meka

This is Meka -- Our hostess and greeter of all who come. She is a wonderful gentle soul we are blessed to have with us!!!



Rainbow LodgeThis is  Rainbow Lodge, The first Sweatlodge built at Heron Brook Haven. Rainbow Lodge has been used for over a year and has hosted many wonderful groups and ceremonies. Located in a secluded meadow on the back side of the farm, graced by the waters of Flower Brook.


Willow LodgeThis is a photo of the personal lodge known as Willow Lodge. It is used for individual sweats, purification ceremonies and counseling. This lodge holds up to three people and offers the perfect space for personalized healing. The sounds and spirit of Beaver Brook surround and comfort the occupants throughout their experience.

 

Heron Brook Haven is always evolving and has the ability to be what it needs to for whoever comes down the drive. You are welcome to come enjoy the serenity of "my little corner by the brook!"

Sitting spot down by the brook which we call "Brooke's Nook" as it is my granddaughter's favorite spot. The energy and sound from the water is wonderful and available year round. I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful space to share with those who come.

The mission of Heron Brook Haven is to be a space where everyone is allowed to be themself. A place where you can experience, learn and grow to heal yourself and your life. I was not blessed with one teacher who I could learn all "under their wing". I have been gifted with many teachers along my way and each has been such a blessing and privilege!!! I'm not going to list "my credentials" as feel the time and space that you are here is not about that. If you are here it is for your purpose and we have been brought together for a reason. I can learn as much from you as you can from me and I look forward to our paths crossing.

I have been truly blessed in so many ways throughout my journey. Along the way the people who have come in and out of my life are all a part of this sacred space. I consider each one of my friends and family a special gift. Love is a big part of what we are all searching for and one of my greatest gifts is my partner and best friend, Tim, (Brother Cloud).
