At Heron Brook Haven the belief is "We all have the power and light within to BE!" When we learn to listen to and trust our inner voice and wisdom we can then find our Orenda (spiritual essence) and remember who we truly are, heal and be free.

My name is Jana and Heron Brook Haven has come about as a result of my journey and healing. I struggled for many years with several different "dis-eases" and labels (fibromyalgia, PTSD, depression, abuse) and when I look back over my path I sometimes find it hard to believe how I used to feel and live. True healing comes from within your own being and we each have our own trail we have to walk. We all have "issues" irregardless of where we come from or who we are. Healing and empowering ourselves and learning how to achieve that can be difficult and even more so when trying to do it on our own. Facing the changes and being a co-creator and becoming responsible for our own life is not always an easy road. We all have a purpose for being here and part of that is remembering why we chose to come here and figuring out the best way to accomplish that goal. As we each heal and remove the "veils" and doubts that cloud our remembering we learn to listen, trust and find our way. It has been and continues to be my blessing to help any on their path no matter who they are, where they come from or what they are struggling with. I am always very thankful for the many gifts and blessings I have been given and receive each day. It is a true gift to know that we are never alone and I am honored to be able to assist others in healing and finding their way.

This is  Rainbow Lodge, the first Sweatlodge built here at Heron Brook Haven. Rainbow Lodge has  hosted many wonderful groups and ceremonies. Located in a secluded meadow on the back side of the farm, graced by the waters of Flower Brook.


This is the personal lodge known as Willow Lodge. It is used for individual sweats, purification ceremonies and counseling. This lodge holds up to three people and offers the perfect space for personalized healing. The sounds and spirit of Beaver Brook surround the occupants throughout their experience.
